Most of you have heard the story about how I bought a guitar at age 30 and went on to do some stuff which has blown my mind including being signed to a record deal at age 74, just two months ago!
While trolling YouTube seeking more information on the Human Brain-Mind Potential, and the Power of the Subconscious Mind as it is related to Neuro-plasticity. I listened again to one of my favorite original songs. ‘Sausalito Nell!’ written in about 1977 or 1978!
The last verse written in the late 70’s speaks to neuro-plasticity and I quote,
“We were sipping Psychadelics and reading the italics of the handwriting on the wall.
Before my eyes my life was flying, I was reading between the lines, and then I heard the call!
Like captain Fantastic, My mind became Elastic I was receiving meditation so strong.
Like Captain Terrific, I was deciphering Hieroglyphics and Rosetta Was I stone!”
To my amazement during that same time I wrote ‘Zen and the Tao of Jones.’
This song stated in the second chorus, (written before 1980),
“The Stock market’s Gonna Crash, Soon As the Robots get their checks Cashed.
The Government is gonna react soon as the ‘SOVIETS’ give our stats back!”
It is my personal belief that several of the songs on this cd are mini workshops on ‘Subliminal World Class Bio-Rhythm & Blues Mystic
